Call to order at 7:10pm by Chairman, Stu Davies
Present: Commissioners: Ed Arobio, Stu Davies.
Residents Robyn Davies, Dwayne Hofschulte, Wayne Hunt, Ron Illingworth, Eric Lanser, Warren Smith, John Tobin
Special meeting to discuss the acceptance of the $500,000 safety grant.
• Stu reported winning bidder HC Contractor for $298,000, admin fees $100,000+ leaving around $87,000
• Stu spoke with Jerry Kreofsky today who reported they wrote change orders into the bid and would like to meet with Stu next week to drive road with Dave Halverson and Jerry and discuss options for other locations to make safety repairs.
• Motion by Ed to approve project as designed with understanding that change orders could be utilized to spend remaining $80,000+. Second by Stu
o Consensus of residents present to accept bid
o Vote on motion Stu – Yes Ed- Yes
• Discussion on other locations needing repairs
o #1 mile 7.2-7.7
o #2 depressions at around 1.1 mile
• Reminder for Stu to ask contractor about traffic control
Other announcements
• Stu reminded everyone we need 2 new commissioners. Stu will ask at next ARSAC meeting if possible to change rules so that residents paying taxes but not living out here can serve on commission
• Discussion on repaving of highway and possibility EFR may be closed at Bathing Beauty. Need to remind contractor to give residents notice so they can plan that in their daily commute
• AAA site gravel removal to begin soon
